Course description:

The 6-hour webinar will focus on current approaches and challenges in the post-pandemic era to ensure laboratory safety. The resource speakers invited were a pool of experts in their respective fields. When managing a laboratory safety program, it is always preferable to use proactive indicators. The most effective approach is to employ indicators and practices that can detect and prevent safety issues in the department before they occur. The reality is that no safety program is flawless, and injuries and exposures do occur on occasion. The majority of these events are avoidable, but they do occur on occasion due to extremely unusual circumstances. However, whether an event is categorized as unavoidable or preventable, lessons can be drawn.
